Yana Gladkikh is a Russian-born filmmaker and MFA Directing graduate of the American Film Institute Conservatory. Her thesis film, Dog Sees God, was showcased at AFI Fest 2025.

 

Formerly a lead actress at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre for 12 years, she directed two acclaimed television series and the Sony Pictures box office success The Babe! (Best Debut, 2020).

 

As a mother of three, Yana balances motherhood and filmmaking—her journey reflects commitment to cinema that champions raw female experiences and complex family dynamics.
